NAON Conference and Rosen Centre Convention Center

NAON Conference and Rosen Centre Convention Center

In May I traveled to Orlando for the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses' 45th Annual Conference (they call it Congress). The NAON Congress was held at the Rosen Centre Hotel and Convention Center. I decided to stay in the hotel so I could be close for the convention and it didn't look to far from local attractions.Β

As a huge Disney fan (see my 1/2 sleeve tattoo if you doubt my Disney love) I knew I needed to make a trip to the parks while I was there. BUT I realzied it had been even longer since I went to Universal Studios!Β

It was a 15 minute Uber to Disney Springs and to Universal Studios, costing about $15 each way.Β

I went out a couple of days early so I could have some park time and it was great. A girlfriend joined me and we enjoyed the pool at the hotel each evening. The pool bar had good drinks and good food! There is also a Deli in the hotel that we visited for late night bites (pizza and sandwich).Β

Overall I was really please with the location, the room, the pool, the food availability, and the convention center set up.
